Boosting Michigan's Economy: Diplomat’s Projected Hiring Needs through 2015
Long-term hiring projections are that over 1,000 new staff will join Diplomat over the next 5 years and 4,000 by 2028.
The Career Alliance grant is a grant from the U.S. Department of Labor and is specifically targeted to new employees. Diplomat was awarded $14 million through the Flint Career Alliance, the Genesee/Shiawassee County Michigan WORKS!™ program dedicated to work force development and connecting employers with employees. The vast majority of employees hired as a result of the Career Alliance grant will be from the Flint community.
